Calling all Taco Lovers…

When it comes to seafood, people just can’t get enough of lobster! For a unique lobster recipe, try making lobster tacos!

The Mayo

No lobster taco is complete without a flavorful mayo! Use a southwest mayo for a spicy twist.

For the ingredients you will need:

  • 2 cups mayo
  • Zest and juice of one lime
  • 2 roasted jalapeños
  • 1/2-2/3 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 tsp chipotle in Adobo
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic

Just add the ingredients to a blender and combine until smooth!

The lobster

Of course, the most important ingredient is the lobster. Maine lobster is some of the best around. If you can’t make your way to Maine to get them yourself, Cape Porpoise can deliver the highest quality lobster right to your door! For the tacos, you’ll need at least a one pound steamed lobster, but it’s also good to order extra so you can have leftovers! Toss as much or as little of the southwest mayo with the lobster meat as you want to get your desired taste.

The finishing touches

Consider adding pickled onions or jalapenos for a nice kick, and/or an avocado sauce for some healthy creaminess. Simply use one avocado, the juice of one lime and lime zest, a pinch of salt, and puree with two ice cubes. Warm up a flour or corn tortilla and line the bottom with lettuce or cabbage.
